You’ll take Emmet on a journey with a group of other heroes to save the world from an evil tyrant. There are over 90 different characters for you to choose from. Including Gandalf the wizard, Superman, and of course Batman. You’ll visit the areas of Cloud Cuckoo Land, Flatbush Gulch, and more in 15 levels of gameplay.

Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends coming for PS4

If you haven’t got the chance to play Rayman Legends yet, this is the time. Ubisoft’s absolutely beautiful platformer has already made its way to the Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and PS Vita. Now it’s the PlayStation 4’s chance. PS4 owners will receive a few extra features not found in the other versions of Rayman Legends. Some of these extras include new playable characters from franchises like Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creed.

That’s not all. With the extra horsepower of the PS4, Ubisoft was able to enhance the already gorgeous visuals. And they were also able to do away with the loading times. This means that when PS4 players enter or exit a level, the transition will be seamless.

“Jumping in and out of a level has never been faster and it’s a great feeling to have such a seamless experience,” Morel said. “Navigating in the game now feels smoother and your gaming experience is never stopped by loading transitions.”

Here are some other features exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version:

  • Rayman Legends will use the DualShock 4 touchpad to do in-game functions like take screenshots and scratch virtual tickets.
  • Certain sounds will emit from the DualShock 4’s built-in speaker.
  • The game will fully support Remote Play so you can play the game on your PS Vita.

Thief

Pretty good amount of stuff there. Only thing that makes it difficult for me i having to rebuy a PS3 and Vita before I can play all the games I want. In other words, I’m gonna have to pick and choose. I think I want my Vita back first, but I can’t decide on another PS3, or a PS4 after that.

      • J.j. Barrington says

I would, but there’s Persona 5, Lightning Returns, Xillia 2, Beyond: 2 Souls, Dragon’s Crown, BlazBlue, Gran Turismo 6, and Zestiria at the least. Not to mention at least a dozen games I haven’t finished yet, and dozens more I love to play, still.

For PS4, there’s Resogun, Killzone, Drive Club, inFamous, Guilty Gear, Kingdom Hearts, No Man’s Sky, The Order: 1886, Watch Dogs, Rime, Uncharted, Warframe, War Thunder, and Deep Down. There’s also DC Universe, which I’ve put too many hundreds of hours into, but I could play it on either console.

It’s definitely not an easy choice. The Vita’s only a shoe-in because it costs the least amount of money.

Have you seen these two list? They have a lot of big games for PS4.

          RPG’s for PS4 – http://whatisplaystation4.com/role-playing-games-ps4/

          Upcoming games for PS4 – http://whatisplaystation4.com/upcoming-ps4-games-watch/

But you’re right. PS3 has a ton of games to play. And it isn’t an easy choice. I guess it all depends on if you want to invest in the future with PS4 or finish all the great content the last generation has to offer with PS3.

          • J.j. Barrington says

And there is the crux of my problem. I’m not the type to just rush headlong into the next gen, and I frequently go back to play games from days gone by. For example, I’ve paused Parasite Eve to respond to this, a game that I only just finished for the first time last week. My library isn’t what it used to be, but even when I was using my PS3 daily- when I HAD it- I’d still go back every week or so to play something on PS2, or play through a PS1 game.

I got my PS2 two years after it came out, and was a year behind with my PS3. I had every intention of having a PS4 at launch, until some financial snafus that still haven’t been fully worked out made me sell just about everything worth more than ten bucks. If at all possible, I’ll reacquire all three consoles once more, and maybe even a 360 and Wii. I don’t particularly mind not being part of the launch crowd, but I’d rather be a part than not. So far, though, the Vita is the only game console I’ve gotten within its first year(the second week, in this case). Everything else was a year or more late… except maybe my SNES, but I don’t remember what year I got it.

(Looking at that RPG list, I’d probably put FFXV in the “Action” section, as little about it so far says “tradition.”)

Rest assured, I’ll have both a PS3 and a PS4, and before year’s end, if all goes well. It’s just a matter of the order.
